Our traditional (non cyber-space) offices are located in Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida. Brevard County is also known as Florida's Space Coast because of the Kennedy Space Center at nearby Cape Canaveral.

We have elected to concentrate our practice on Elder Law. Elder Law attorneys focus on the legal needs of mature citizens and their families, and work with a variety of legal tools and techniques to meet the goals and objectives of families.

Betten, Murphy & Weiss, Attorneys, P.A., has two (2) active attorneys. The firm was established in 1982 by John T. Murphy, who retired from the Florida Bar in 2005. His son, John C. Murphy, joined with him in 1983 and subsequently was elected County Court Judge in September 2006 necessitating him to end his relationship with the firm. Kurt C. Weiss joined the firm in 1991 and was made a partner in 1993. Laura Betten joined the firm in 2006 after 10 years of being a sole practioner.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. We can meet evenings and weekends by appointment. Please take the time to schedule an appointment by phone at (321) 676-2525.
